ITINERARY

Day 1:

• Basing on your arrival time, you will be picked up at the Noi Bai airport and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi Centre.

Day 2: Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai

• 7.00: After breakfast we will pick you up at the hotel in the Old Quarter and depart to Lao Cai (245km). It takes about 5 hours traveling the new highway to Lao Cai. The bus ride brings good chance to see beautiful scenery of the region along the way.
• 12h00 – 13h30: Arrive in Sapa. Relax and have lunch at the restaurant.
• 13h30 – 17h00: Afternoon, start a 4 hour trek to visit Lao Chai – Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai village, exploring the local ethnic minorities life, admire the spectacular natural scenery with the terraced rice fields. Visit Sapa’s ancient rock formations with engraved images big and small, the unique patterns of the ancients, as well as admire the picturesque bridge to the clouds clear over the Muong Hoa stream.
• 16h00: Enjoy the dinner with local specialty and your choice of spending the night at a hotel or homestay with local family.

Day 3: Cat Cat Village – Hanoi

• 7h00 – 9h00: Wake up and enjoy the fresh air and atmosphere of Sapa. Breakfast at hotel/homestay.
• 9h00 – 12h00: Exploring Cat Cat – Shin chai village of H’mong – a colonial French discovered area and a renowned resort to officials from the early twentieth century. Arriving to Cat Cat village, visitors will be visiting the Hydro-power station, the waterfall of Cat Cat village, as well as learning about the culture, customs and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, hand forged agricultural tools.
• 12h00 – 15h00: Car pick up and return to Sapa town.  Enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Free time to walk around or shopping.
• 15h00 – 20h00: Begin your journey back to Hanoi.
• 20h30: Dinner

Day 4: Perfume Pagoda

• You will have full day to Perfume Pagoda. Around 60 kilometers southwest of Hanoi, Perfume Pagoda, designated by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site, which is one among the largest and unique religious sites in northern Việt Nam. It comprises a complex of pagodas and Buddhist shrines built into the limestone cliffs of Perfume Mount (Hương Sơn), scattering alongside the mountain up to the peak. The complex’s center is right inside Huong Tich cavern (or in other words, Inside Pagoda). Huong Son attracts visitors not only with its wonderful landscape, but also with its sense of philosophy embodied inside its splendid caves, of which Huong Tich and Tuyet Son are the most impressive.

Day 5: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay.

• In the morning, meet your guide at the hotel’s lobby and depart for Ha Long. It will take a 3 to 4 hour drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay. Spend 24 hours on a 5-star Cruise in the amazing bay: a natural wonderland composed of jutting limestone islands and sparkling turquoise waters. Arrive at the dock around noon and board your junk.
• Have a gourmet lunch with fresh seafood onboard as we sail out into the mystical bay.
• In the afternoon, cruise around some of Halong’s many islands, including Dinh Huong and Ga Choi. Along the way visit one of the bay’s 3 largest caves (Thien Cung, Dau Go or Sung Sot). Stop at an island cove with a sheltered white-sand beach and take a dip in the warm waters of the Tonkin Gulf (weather permitting). Pass the night on your junk, lulled to sleep by the gentle rocking of calm waters.

Day 6: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

• Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay as you navigate back to Ha Long City.

• Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Ha Long pier.

• In the afternoon, your driver will meet you at the dock and take you to Hanoi.

Day 7: Home sweet home.
