ITINERARY

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh:

–          Basing on your flight time, we will pick you up at the Tan Son Nhat international Airport.

–          If you have time in the afternoon, you have chance to visit The Central Post Office and Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral which were built around 1877 and 1883 respectively. These two iconic buildings are fine examples of French colonial architecture. Remarkably every stone used in the building of the Notre Dam Cathedral was shipped from France to Vietnam. Then you walk to visit The Independence Palace.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Mui Ne (Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan)

–          At 8.00 a.m we will meet you at the hotel and drive you to Mui Ne in Phan Thiet –u Binh Thuan.

–          12.00: Check in a hotel / resort in Mui Ne, have lunch.

–          In the afternoon, at 13.30, you will visit some places as follows:

+ Tien stream

+ Fish sauce making-houses.

–          15.30: Go to Bau Trang white sand hills to slide sand hills, try a racing electric car on the sand hill; sit on the top of the sand hill and see the sunset. This experience will be unforgettable for you.

–          18.00: Back to the hotel and have dinner.

Day 3: Fishing Village in Mui Ne – Lagi town.

• After breakfast, you will visit a fishing village, see hundreds of color boats, … Visit Wine castle with many kinds of wine, you can taste wine and learn out how to make wine there.
• In the afternoon, we move to Lagi Town. Check in a hotel in Lagi.

Day 4: Lagi – Ho Chi Minh City. 

–          In the morning, get up early to see the dawn and swim.

–          Visit Cam Binh Fishing Village to buy some fresh seafood.

–          After having lunch, we will go back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho

–          08:00: Pick up at the hotel and start Mekong delta tour. In My Tho, board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interesting fisherman’s port, stilt houses (half on land, half on water). We will go pass 4 islands: Long, Lan, Qui, Phung to see the local life.

–          Then you will go on Thoi Son Island. You will visit a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. We will walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta. We are divided into some small groups and get on small row boats to witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around,

–          Have a lunch on an island. You’ll cruise a canal along Tien River to reach to Ben Tre Province. And you will smell the sweat smell coconut candies in the air. You will get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. Finally, you might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers’ life.

–          One of the boat’s stops is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.

–          Continue going to Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel

Day 6: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Noodles making families – Fruit gardens in Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh

–          You will have 2 choices:1/ have breakfast at the hotel then go to Cai Rang floating market or 2/ go on a boat and travel for about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape —- Cai Rang floating market, then have breakfast.

–          This is the largest floating market in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, you’ll have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City.

–          After that, we continue on our riverine route for 5-7 minutes and then on foot for about 5 minutes to reach a noodle and a rice paper factories.

–          The next stop is a rice processing factory where you’ll learn the many steps that transform “rice with a brown cover” to the delicious and beautiful rice grain that we consume daily.

–          The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch in Can tho City..

–          Finish trip in Ho Chi Minh at 19.00 pm.
