Buckwheat Flower Festival – Code: M19-009

Day 1: Noi bai Airport – Ha Noi Centre

You will picked up at the Noibai International Airport, and taken to a hotel in The Old Quarter.

After having a rest, you will go on an electrical car for 30 mins to go round and visit some places in The Old Quarter. Then you can watch a water puppet show, a unique Vietnamese Art, in Thang Long Puppet Theatre or Lotus Puppet Theatre near Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 2: Ha Noi – Ha Giang

You will have breakfast early and leave Ha Noi for Ha Giang at 6.30. We will stop in Ha Giang city for lunch after 6 hours on the way. You will stay in a nic and peaceful homestay in Ha Giang City.

In the afternoon, we visit some villages of ethnic minorities round Ha Giang to explore their life

Day 3: Ha Giang city – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Pho Cao – Lung Cu – Dong Van

Get up early to go to Quan Ba (60km from Ha Giang city) to see the sun rise. Take photos in Nui Doi, Cong troi Quan Ba, …

Quan Ba – Yem Minh (60km): Have lunch in Yen Minh. On the way, you can see majestic scene of mountains, pines forests, rice terraces, …

After having lunch in Yen Minh, we continue moving to Pho Cao, Sung La (50km, 1.5 hours): Pho Cao with its peace and the houses with unique architecture is attractive to everyone. Many Photographers love this place, they can stay here some days for hunting photos of sunrise and drawn.

From Yen Minh, you start going into Dong Van Rock Plateau, recognized by UNESCO as one of 77 geological parks in the world. It is an indispensable destination as you visit Ha Giang. You can see millions of tones with different shapes along the way.

When you reach Pho Cao, you can see a lot of buckwheat flowers fields where you have a wonderful pictures.

Leave Pho Cao, you go to Sa Phin (10km) to visit Hmong King Palace.

Then move to Lung Cu (30km, 1hour to go) to visit Lung Cu Flag Tower. The view on the way is so majestic and beautiful.

Finally, you go to Dong Van town (40km from Lung Cu), check in a homestay in Dong Van. Here you can arrange a camp fire and BBQ for dinner with local food. In the evening, you will have interesting time on Pho Co Café, drink coffee and enjoy live music show, listen to the songs of ethnic minorities.

Day 4: Dong Van – Ma Phi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Cao Bang City.

If you can get up early, you climb to the top of mountain in the town for seeing sunrise. It is so beautiful.

For breakfast, should try Banh Cuon Dong Van or Xoi Ngu Sac. If it is Sunday, should join Dong Van Market (Cho phien Dong Van) to see local people exchange their products, buy and sell things,…

At 9.00, we move to Ma Pi Leng Pass (about 30km from Dong Van). It is one of 4 most dangerous and beautiful passes in VN. You will stop on the way to see and take photos of Nho Que river. It is so majestic.

Leave Mã Pi Leng, we continue going to Meo vac town and have lunch in Meo Vac.

In the afternoon, we take 6-hour journey to Cao Bang City. Check in a hotel in Cao bang city.

Day 5: Cao Bang City – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Nguom Ngao Cave:

00: After breakfast, you will be driven to Ban Gioc Waterfall in Dam Thuy (90km). Ban Gioc Waterfall is one of Vietnam’s best-known impressive natural sights and is one of the biggest waterfalls in South East Asia. With the width of 300 meters, the depth of 60 meters and height of 70 meters, the majestic scenery is always impress deeply for visitors.

Take photos of the falls for 1 hours, then go to visit Nguom Ngao Cave (3km far from Ban Gioc Waterfall), created by an underground river about 300 million years ago. Nguom Ngao Cave with the length of 2,144m is one of the most spectacular cave systems in Vietnam. However, visitors are permitted to go along a 1km- long concrete path. In the cave, visitors will be pressed by wonderful seven-colored stalactites hanging down from high stone cliffs, of which some look like human bodies, forest plant, animals, lotus…

00: back to Cao Bang to have lunch.

00: We leave Cao Bang City and move to Ba Be Lake – Ba Be National Park. The lakes have a lot of places to see such as: waterfalls, rivers, valleys, lakes, and caves all set amidst picturesque landscapes. 

After over 3 hours to go, we arrive in Ba Be Lake. Check in a homestay in Ba Be Lake.

Day 6: Cruising on Ba Be Lake – Ha Noi

In the morning, we will take a 3 or 4-hour tour on boat cruising along Ba Ba lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery landscape of Ba Be lake, Puong Cave, Dau Dang waterfall. Puong Cave, which features a fascinating array of rock formations and for its thousands of bats. Have lunch in a village on an island in the lake.

In the afternoon, we go back Ha Noi

Day 7: Ha Noi – Quat Dong Embroidery Village

In the morning, you will have funny time to play and take photos of sunflower in Flower valley in Ha Noi.

After lunch, you will visit Quat Dong Embroidery Village. Village embroiderers have produced a wide variety of products, from traditional items such as: paired, rattlesnakes, clay, chess, tablecloths, traditional stage costumes … to embroider landscape paintings, portraits like Uncle Ho’s house floor, One Pillar Pagoda …

Day 8: Home sweet home.
