Lychee Festival Tour – Code: M19-006

Day 1:

You will picked up at the Noibai International Airport, and taken to a hotel in The Old Quarter.

In the afternoon: Take tour to traditional villages: Thach Xa Village and Chang Son Village:

Thach Xa Village is famous for its unique traditional craft product – the bamboo dragonfly. Dragonflies, colorful butterflies made of bamboo and beautifully painted, especially dragonflies, butterflies standing balanced by the tip of the beak.

15.30 – 16.30: Visit Chang Son, Hanoi’s wooden fan-making village. Chang Son is a famous traditional craft village for its sophisticated and creative wooden hand fans in Hanoi.  Coming to Chang Son, you can visit production processes of traditional hand fans, and see countryside landscape that villagers try to keep before the nonstop changes of the country.

Day 2: Ha Noi- Tam Coc Bich Dong

30: After having breakfast, we will pick you up at the Hotel and move to Ninh Binh for approximately 3 hour drive. Check in a homestay/hotel in Tam Coc Bich Dong and have lunch.

00 – 16.00: Visit Tam Coc Bich Dong. Board the sampan boats in Tam Coc going along river among the villages, mountains, and ripening rice fields. Passing through 3 caves “Hang Ca – First cave, Hang Hai – Second cave, Hang Ba – Third cave” to get a wonderful feeling. June is ripening rice season in Ninh Binh, so you will have amazing experience in going on bamboo boat through yellow rice field.

00: Have dinner in the hotel.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.

Day 3: Van Long Natural Reserve – Ha Noi.

30: have breakfast.

00-11.30: Van Long Natural Reserve. We board a bamboo rowboat as soon as we arrive for 1 hour rowing along this beautiful wetland of Van Long, enjoying spectacular scenery surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone mountain peaks.

00: Have lunch in Ninh binh

00-17.30: Go back to Ha noi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 4: Ha Noi – Luc Ngan (Bac Giang)/Thanh Ha (Ha Giang)

At 7.30, you will have breakfast in the hotel and then leave Ha Noi to go to Thanh Ha District – Hai Duong province or Luc Ngan District – Bac Giang Provice where you can join an amazing festival: LYCHEE FESTIVAL. You will spend a day to:

Have very unique and beautiful photos with lychee trees with lots of lychee fruit.

Collect lychee fruit

Eat as lots of fresh lychee fruit as possible.

00 – 17.30: Back to Hanoi centre.

Day 5: Ha Noi – Sapa – Nam Cang Village

At 6.30: Pick up from your hotel, get on bus and depart for Sapa Town, have lunch in Sapa town.

In the afternoon, you will start to travel to Nam Cang Village, locates at the most remote area of Sapa. It will take you 3 hours to hike on off the beaten track trails. Along the way, you enjoy beautiful views of high mountains, waterfalls and the deep valley. This time, you can see the rice terraces with a lot of water which look like thousands of mirrors.

You will arrive at the Blue H’mong village in Nam Than then downhill and soon you will reach the small and remote Red Dao minority village in Nam Cang. Check in Nam Cang Riverside Lodge, situated few meters from the river with own suspended bridge and with the jungle close by.

Meals: Lunch, dinner

Day 6:

Get up early to see cloud in the mountain, go around the village, explore the life of The Red Dao minority and learn how the local villagers make writing paper, jewelry and embroidery. You may also want to take a swim in the river, before having a transfer back to Sapa town for lunch.

Go round Sapa town, buy some souvenirs, and come back Hanoi at 14.00. You will arrive in Hanoi at about 19.30.

Day 7: Hanoi Centre – Noi bai Airport:

Take a tour around The Old quarter in an electrical car, go shopping, then pack your luggage and we will drop you off the airport.
