Summer Holiday with Magnificent Caves – Code: M19-003

Day 1: Ha Noi

You will picked up at the Noibai International Airport, and taken to a hotel in The Old Quarter.

In the afternoon, take a city tour on double-decker bus which has 13 stops going through more than 20 famous attractions. You will go through Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square – Hoan Kiem Lake, St. Joseph’s Cathedral, The Flag Tower of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Quan Thanh Temple, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Cua Bac Church, The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, The Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison Relic, Museum of Vietnamese Women, Hanoi Opera House, Hanoi Post Office, …. This itinerary will help you to explore and have unforgettable experience in your itinerary.

Day 2: Traditional handicraft Villages

You will have a day to visit and learn more about traditional handicraft Villages round Ha Noi: Chuong Village, Vu Lang Village, Vac Village.

+ Chuong village: Famous for palm leaf conical hat (NON). Non from Chuong Village are well-known not only throughout Vietnam but also in China, Japan and Europe. In the past, non from Chuong Village were sent to imperial palaces for queens, princesses and high-ranking ladies.

+ Vu Lang Village: Well-known in the northern region for sculpting statues, particularly worshipping objects. Visitors to the village find rows of statues drying along the roads and hear the clamor of chisels and saws.

+ Vac village, famous for traditional craft: making fans, making hats, making bird cages …..  The cages of Vác village not only provide Hanoi but also bring in the South, even to foreign countries. Many people love birds also find the village set cages for tens of millions of dollars.

21h30: Take train to Dong Hoi – Quang Binh

Day 3: Quang Binh: Thien Duong & Phong Nha Cave –

00: Arrive Dong Hoi, check in a hotel in Dong hoi city.

After relaxing in the hotel for some mins, you start to visit Phong Nha Cave. First is considered “First wonders”. Take a boat approx 5km along the Son River to tour the Phong Nha Cave (river cave). Yacht upstream Son river dreaming, enjoy charming natural scenery either side, you will see pictures of the girls, the children have fun on the waterfront and have the opportunity to experience the daily life of the neighborhood riverside village bearing the Vietnamese country soul. Conquering the Phong Nha Cave: enjoy the scenery spectacular limestone, underground river system and unique stalactite in the world. Caving Fairy & Imperial admire the beautiful stalactites blocks are created by nature over thousands of millennia.

You will have lunch near Phong Nha Cave then continue to visit the Paradise Cave (Hang Thien Duong) in the afternoon. Paradise Cave, first discovered in 2005 by the British Cave Research Association, is a largest and most beautiful cave in the Phong Nha – Ke Bang area. It is said that the cave’s beauty is reminiscent of an imperial palace and very well resented with easy access, great walkways, and excellent feature lighting which made it extra special. You take the electrical car from the parking to the foothills of the cave (2km). Admire countless stalactites with different shapes. Thien Duong Grotto is a long and large grotto. It is even longer and larger than Phong Nha and Tien Son Grottos.

00: Go back the hotel and have dinner

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 4: Mooc Stream and Dark Cave: Adventure tour

You will have chance to do something adventurous with Mooc Stream and Dark Cave.

In the morning you will see the natural beauty of Nuoc Mooc stream. You can relax on a hammock next to the stream and listen to birds singing, or swimming, kayaking, fishing in the stream.

After lunch you continue to visit Dark Cave with funny activities: double-zip line, the deep, slippery and buoyant mud. There you will become a real cave explorer with specialized equipment used for exploring the underground river system, admire the special beauty of stalactite. You will have an enjoyable experience of natural mud bathing.

You also have chance to join Kayak on the Chay River and enjoy the beauty of the nature.

00 Go back the hotel and prepare to go back Ha Noi by train at about 21.30.

Day 5:

00: have breakfast in hotel then will visit Dao Xa Traditional Musical Instruments Making Village. Villager craft various types of traditional instruments, including the “dan bau” (a monochord), the “dan nguyet” (a full-moon-shaped guitar with two strings) and the “dan nhi” (an upright two-string fiddle). Visitors will immediately smell the wood and hear the sound of these musical instruments.

In the afternoon, go shopping, buy baking stuffs and souvenirs.
