2019 SINGAPORE – CORPGIFT SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM

• • Duration: 1 or 2 weeks
• Suitable for students: 6-18 years Old
• Date: June/ July 2019
• English classes: Learn English 3 hours a day with international students from Monday to Friday.
• Workshops: There will be minimum of 1 workshop. Basing on the time and availability of the lecturers, students can be attended in one of the following workshops:
• Cheese Tart / Pizza Baking Workshop or Barista & Dining Manner Workshop of School of Hospitality & Tourism.
• Broadcasting in TV or Social Media – Mobile Story Telling, Mobile Digital Photography, Understanding Media Content of School of Media & Communications.
• Conflict Management (Customized to student age group) or Finding ourselves through games and test (Customized to student age group) of School of Psychology.
• Introduction to 3D Printing (Student must have an email account) or Introduction to Robotics of School of Engineering.
• Jewelry Design Workshop of JDMIS.
• Outing activities will be held in the afternoon:
• Students will be play some sports: Dragon boating, Rock climbing, Go karting, Ice-skating, amazing race, ….
• Students will be taken to some famous sightseeing in Singapore such as: Garden by the bay (Flower dome, Cloud forest), Merlion Park, Marina Bay, China town, Singapore Science center, nigh safari, …
• Students may have a change to go to Legoland in Johor Bahru – Malaysia.
• Students will have a lot of fun on joining cake-designing art classes such as:
• Pizza making class.
• Mantou designing class
• Freshly steamed Fun Braised Pau.
• Japanese Art Design Sushi
• Cookie designing class.
• Objectives:
• For students to immerse in a suitable environment, in order to improve their English proficiency in the shortest time possible
• To allow the students to experience a different culture and develop better understanding of Singapore
• To allow the students to get to know other students from different countries, interact and learn from one another
• Ultimately, it is to enable students to be able to learn in a relaxed and enjoyable way
